The rationale of this course is to prepare students how to write a story and script, and include all the creative elements to ensure the script is good and acceptable in the industry.
LEARNING OUTCOME
- Explain what is digital storytelling and scriptwriting
- Generate ideas for digital storytelling and scriptwriting
- Identify the storytelling and scriptwriting format and structure.
- Develop a scripts for film and animation production
- Produce digital storytelling based on scriptwriting.
This course introduces and exposes the students in understanding the theory and practice of doing story and script. Basically the script writing is divided into television format, radio, news and others that need some skills and technique to be developed before the production began. The main objective in this course is to introduce the industry format with the foundation of new technology for digital storytelling and scriptwriting for film and animation production.
